Metropolink / Heidelberg, Germany / 2024

Playing with architectural elements and the illusion of depth in a futuristic trompe de l’oeil style on this unusual thin format in Metropolink Festival in Heidelberg, Germany. Between flooding rainfalls and freezing temperatures down to -8°C I luckily managed to complete this long & thin format, for the first time ever working with a grid to transfer the draft proportionally correct. Usually I prefer a projector for the large scales, as it is the fastest and most accurate way of transferring detailed outlines down to the centimeter. It worked quite well even though it took an extra day of work.
