Cryptoart & NFTs / New series now available

For a while I´ve been thinking about a way to preserve these pieces that are often lost and destroyed almost instantly, after I painted them. Mural art comes with a certain ephemerality that lies in the ways of the world. Nothing lasts forever. It took me a bit to realize, that Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT) backed by the Ethereum bockchain offer a certified way of preserving these pieces, that otherwise would only keep existing on my harddrive. At least for a little bit longer.

Even though the gas prices (transaction costs) are quite high in the past couple of months,  I decided to release a series of limited edition NFTs featuring some my favourite pieces that I painted in recent times. After the release, each artwork (image, video, etc.) will be deleted from my social media accounts and will solely available as NFT. Each buyer will also get a digital copy of the specific piece through a downloadable link. You can obtain your freshly minted token here (via rarible.com or foundation.app).

Mural Oasis / Las Vegas, USA / 2019

One of the most interesting projects I was ever blessed to join happened last year outside of Las Vegas. ? @muraloasis features the largest, most interesting and world class collection of contemporary muralism that I have seen up to date. I’m more than honored to show my works amongst some of my favourite artists, inspirations and friends there. Pure awesomeness. Huge thanks to the whole production team @themuralco !

Geometry Graffiti / Lyon, France / 2020

Just before the lockdown, I had a beautiful day in the sun at a beautiful spot around the corner of Painture Fraiche Festival Lyon, France to paint around 10 smaller pieces and geometry arrangements. Felt like spring.

Block Rain ARtrium / Mural / Moscow /2019

ARtrium Block Rain

36m x 15m

Spraypaint and augmented reality on wall

Located on the facade of the Atrium mall in Moscow, Russia amongst a grand collection of contemporary muralism. My latest mural is a tribute to the worlds most famous video game Tetris, ported for virtually almost every platform ever. I always wanted to involve on of my favorite childhood games that I spent countless hours on. The game was first created by in 1984 by Alexey Pajitnov at the soviet academy of sciences for hardware testing and soon made it to the streets, going viral on the first home computers of Moscow and later worldwide. This is my largest work up to date in terms of height as well as squaremeters and I”m glad I had the skilled team of the Artrium project as well as my brother supporting me during the 6 days of production.

@Home / Mural / Hagen, Germany 2019

@Home

25 x 13m

My latest interactive augmented reality mural was painted in Hagen, Germany during two and a half windy days. Parts of the concept where inspired and actually designed by local Kindergarten kids, thus creating a mashup of two otherwise antithetic styles. I was really lucky to have probably the best producution manager with me on site; Mr. Michelle, who made the whole painting process seem as easy as 1,2,3.

St+Art India Festival / New Delhi, india / 2019

Mere Rang mein

9 x 30m

I was more than happy to be invited once again by my old friends from St+Art India for another fantastic culture and arts festival in Delhi\’s Lodhi colony, where a couple of hundred (!) large wall are being redesigned by artists from all over the world and India alike. Since I haven´t been to India in more than three years, this was a long overdue chance to revisit many old friends and breathe some smoggy Delhi winter fog.
